Ensuring the Vietnamese Community is Heard

One of the missions of the anti-Racism committee is to ensure that the voice of the Vietnamese community is included where policy decisions on racism are made. We are thrilled to announce that President Santa Ono (UBC) invited us to speak at the National Forum on Anti-Asian Racism from June 10-11.

This is a big deal because:

  1. This is a Canada-wide event
  2. All of the major groups, academics, and decision-makers will be participating
  3. This will strengthen our standing in this community

VPABC anti-Racism committee chair, Steven Ngo, will be speaking on the Justice System panel at 1 pm on June 10th, 2021. For more details and to sign-up for the “Justice System” issues table to see VPABC in action, visit here:
